Dubbed 80’s feeling of a Chinese village home, Chinese New Year 2020 celebration at Sunway Velocity mall saw Vinders fabricate, set up and decorate a beautiful installation in the Centre atrium. Festive lanterns dominated the atrium, surrounded by village home with the effects of the rusty roof. Visitors of the mall had the photo opportunity against the astonishing series of decorations. The task was sizeable, quite literally, and we had to get large numbers of rusted zink roofs within a short period. We oxidized the roofs we found with acid and brushed the effect of old rusty zink skillfully. With the team’s assistance in overall setup, we created a beautiful and heartwarming environment for shoppers to share their New Year’s blessings. With only a short period to design, find source materials, produce and install everything, time was not on our side, however, the team rose to the occasion and delivered an outstanding display for the new year.
